What to Expect

Austin is a hard working guide who grew up hunting black tails in his backyard. He will go out of his way to get you on a buck.  Austin can guide you spot and stock in pristine blacktail terrain and can set you up to hunt out of a tree stand or ground blind. Put your trust in him to put a Pacific Ghost  in front of you!

I first met Austin in Alaska when he guided us on a brown bear hunt. He was one of the most knowledgeable and personable outfitters I have hunted with. The experience resulted in the harvest of a trophy brown bear. This experience led me to keep in touch and continue to hunt with Austin. My second hunt was a Columbian Blacktail hunt in his native state of Oregon. He accommodated every request, including horseback for a week in the back country. From the amazing meals his wife prepared, to the fresh mule deer we ate on for the week, the harvest of my blacktail was a bonus to the entire experience. I highly recommend Austin and I look forward to many more hunts with him in the future.
